A Tenants Check Out Guide

If your tenancy is coming to an end we have compiled some handy information to help make your check-out as smooth as possible.

Don’t forget to check your tenancy agreement - almost all of our student contracts end at 10am on the 30th of June. New tenants will often be moving in the next day and we need time to complete our inspections, complete any maintenance/cleaning and in some cases even update any photographs.

Click the button below to have a look through our short booklet highlighting the main things that we'll be looking out for come your check-out inspection.

It highlights the main things that we'll be looking out for during your checkout inspection. While it doesn't cover absolutely everything that might get assessed, you can pretty much guarantee that if you get everything done in the booklet and on the checklist, you'll have a very swift checkout and deposit return.

Checkout Checklist

When you are coming to the end of your tenancy, we know it can be a stressful time. Packing, organising, moving and cleaning all takes longer than planned and that is while continuing with life's everyday responsibilities.

So we have also put together a handy checkout checklist of all the things that you need to do before you leave your house at the end of your tenancy.

Feel free to download this checklist to stick on the fridge or put up in the hallway so that you can tick things off as you go!

We want to make sure that you get as much of your deposit back as quickly as possible, so the best way to do that is to follow our guides closely and leave the house as clean as you possibly can!

If you need any extra help or advice please do not hesitate to get in touch with the team. We hope you have had a great time living in one of our managed properties and we wish you the best of luck for your move.
